When Should I Spay and Neuter My Pets?
The traditional age for spaying and neutering is 6-9 months, depending on the breed, and as long as they’re healthy. Dogs can be spayed as adults as well, although there’s a slightly higher risk of postoperative complications in older dogs that are overweight or in heat.
