Traci Holder, VMD

Associate Veterinarian

I grew up in Southern Indiana, graduated from Indiana University with a degree in biology, and received my veterinary medical degree (VMD) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001.

I began practicing small animal medicine after moving to Florida in 2001. I live with my husband, Ian, and my family includes a collie named Bowie. I call the South Shore area my home.

Nicole Bradford

Practice Manager
Meet our new Practice Manager, Nicole. She has worked in Veterinary Medicine for the past 20 years. She started as a technician while attending SPC and has worked in all areas of the hospital. She has been passionate about animals since she was young, frequently rescuing pregnant mothers and eventually adopting kittens to families.
While she enjoys her job managing Big Bend Animal Hospital, you will often find her in the rooms assisting patients, in the back helping the technicians, or at the front desk providing superior customer service.
When Nicole is not at work, she attends to her first loves, her pets! Nicole has a menagerie at home with three dogs and nine cats!

Groomer

Karen Green is a professional pet groomer with a lifelong dedication to animal care. She began grooming at age 18 alongside her mother, developing a strong foundation in patience, skill, and compassionate handling of animals.

In 2007, she opened her own successful grooming business, building a reputation for quality care and attention to detail across a wide range of breeds and temperaments. With decades of experience, Karen is committed to providing safe, comfortable, and stress-free grooming for every pet.

In 2023, Karen relocated to Florida with her family and continues her work in pet grooming while serving the local community. She is also a mother of five and a grandmother of fifteen, and she understands the importance of treating every pet as a valued family member.

Karen is proud to be part of the team at Big Bend Animal Hospital and is dedicated to helping every pet look and feel their best.
